View of one of the two main channels in Alleppey Town. In some guide-books Alleppey is mentionned as "The Venice of India" but in my opinion is that there is only one Venice and Alleppey is just another indian town even if in the picture looks a bit like an impressionist painting.
Alleppey is the most popular gate for the Backwaters, one of the most scenic places not only in India but all over the world. |
