Photographer’s Note

I had been waiting a long time to get to calcutta and take this shot. It had been fermenting in my mind for quite sometime.
The beauty of this heritage city is changing fast with time. Calcutta today is building for the new age and a new era is begining to unfold in her lap.
This picture shows the Memorial of Francis princep an old age structure. Over the top the BIG is hovring presence of the New Hoogly bridge at calcutta.
A combination the truely reflects the picture of calcutta today a city with a rich past and a huge future.
