This photo was taken in Ranu Pani, the small and quiet village from where you can start the 2-day trek to Semeru volcano. The best to organize the trek is to go to Pak Tasrip's Homestay, the only homestay in the village, run by a wonderful family.

Hello Julien,

Too bad there`s not a review to this one. I find it simple and nice. The colors are not as saturated, but very natural. The clarity of the photo helps a lot. Most importantly, the subject is very distinctive. Coupled with good technical approach, this makes well - a good photo, for me at least.
