Photographer’s Note

A very classic photo of Bromo-Tengger-Semeru from Mount Penanjakan, but such a pleasure to shoot it oneself...

I reposted this photo because the previous photo was in Adobe rgb. I just learnt recently that photos should be uploaded in sRGB on the net otherwise colours look faded.

I also added a frame.

I like this picture very much - and its title too! One of the most impressive landscape photos I've seen so far ... The atmosphere here is breahaking , like the dawy of Creation. Congratulations to this picture!

Yeah, I like it. Only the sky could be darkened to avoid overexposition on the upper right, but the rest of the photo is very nice !

Salut Julien,$au vu de tes dernières photos, j'ai peine à croire que tu débutes en photo. Elles sont très réussies et celle-ci aussi. 'Magic' c'est vraiment le mot ici, quelle atmosphère! Je comprends tout à fait le besoin de faire soi-même la photo même si le point de vue est connu! Et le sRVB...oui j'ai eu le même problème avec une photo de Venise dont j'aimais particulièrement les rouges...qui sont ressortis bien pâles! Beau boulot en tout cas.

Nice picture with a low light enhancing the shadows and lighted areas. We feel it was windy looking at the smoke of the volcan, and the swirling cloud on the left.

Bonjour Julien,

C'est un petit bijou : bien sûr il y a cette vue sur les volcans, mais surtout il y a cet effet de mouvement des nuages sur la crête de gauche.
Je rêve d'un panoramique avec une vue un peu plus ouverte sur la droite afin de profiter encore plus des volcans.
