Lake Batur is surounded by a beautiful landscape, aplace woth visiting when in Bali. Take at least one day to go to the island's center and visit Ubud with its rice fields and to one of the Island Lakes. Hire a cab in the Kuta area for 20 bucks a day and the driver will bring you to the interesting pleces in the rural island central region.

Bali has it all, beaches, mountains and lakes, rice farms, old temples, religious festivals,great cheap massage spas, shopping and a rich culture of teatre and dance. The balinese are kind and joyous. There is for sure something for everyone. A place I will definitely visit again.

Olá Flavia,

bela foto com todo o colorido dos barcos e uma natureza de muito beleza. O ponto de vista escolhido está ótimo, a perspectiva do pier e o peçado de mato são boas adições. Uma pena somente haver um pouco de sujeira, não pela composição em si, mas pelo lado de preservação.

Bonjour Flavia,
un bien joli cielm ici, qui aurait mérité un peu plus de place sur la photo. Mais il n'est pas le sujet principal. Un ble endroit aux airs tropicaux et calme.
Une prise bien équilibrée avec un avant plan coloré.

From your informative notes and photo, it does sound and look like an interesting place to visit. I had Bali in my mind for the next destination after returning from Australia in April.

I like this POV with the four tiers of landscape -- FG green, water, mountain and sky well balanced. It might be even better if the position of the pier and boats can be lowered down in the framing, but then you may loose out on the nice green patch in the FG.
