Photographer’s Note
Batur lake was a giant crater of the old Batur Volcano in Bali. The crater is now missing but in the middle of the old crater a new smoking cone developed. It's just similar with Bromo I think. This photo was taken from Abang area. A hill road going to Besakih temple. The new batur cone is pretty active, it send smoke continuosly. And for certain occasion send sands and rock to the surrounding. It made a good business for civil construction. The Batur sand is a good quality.
