Besakih Temple
Besakih, Pura Besakih, is the most important hinduisti holy area on the island Bali and "mother temple" of all balinese temples. The temple was built probably in the 8th century and is located on an approximately 950 meters height on southwest slope of the Gunung Agung, a still active volcano. The complete area consists of over 200 buildings. Each prince family has its own district. All village communities have within the area own temples or shrines, which are surrounded by walls.
The holiest temple in the center is the Pura Panataran Agung Besakih, in which God Sanghyang Widhi Wasa after the Indian terminology is admired as Trimurti - which is the Brahma Shiva Vishnu.

Hello Achim! Very interesting temple. Original roofs. Nice POV. Interesting light and colours. Good capture. Very good effect. Well done!

In spite of the lack of image quality and dull weather, it's still a very nice panoramic sight of all these fascinating typical roofs of Bali. The best being the two rising up to the sky at left.
best wishes,

Achim,
Well this one is not you best shot and you know that. It is a little soft on the sharpness and clarity. But It's better than most average and it show that you're a well travelled man. I enjoy it and I love to see this place for myself soon.

Hello Achim
Not your best quality shot, but the POV is very original. when I went to Bali, I elected not to go to Besakih as I heard it's too touristy. Maybe I was wrong, when I see your POV.
Best Regards

Hallo Achim,

Regards.
Daniel.
