Remember " The Bridges of Madison County" a film by Clint Eastwood (he appeared as Robert Kincaid) featuring Meryl Streep as Francesca Johnson.
The story about a "National Geographic" Photographer Robert Kincaid wanders into the life of housewife Francesca Johnson, for four days in the 1960s.
This film makes me always try to go to anywhere the covered bridges exist.
I was very lucky to find this awe-inspiring 200m long structures built on November 30th 1940, somewhere in Banggai Region, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. |
