Good portrait, Luca. Well composed and technically perfect - the lighting and sharpess is superb. I wonder how this would have looked if you had used a narrower aperture to give a little more DOF and context to the image? That's not a criticism of this shot - it is great as it is - but whether it would have worked with a deeper DOF would depend on what you had in the background. If it's water and a distant shoreline that would have been good. Cheers . . . David

I think that by posting this wonderfully well composed picture here you have actually freed Alex from the cluchtes of anonymity. The lights, framing, colours, everything about this image is perfect. Not to take way any credit from Alex, whose expressions add so much value to the whole package. TFS

very nice portrait, the bokehing is classic stuff with a beautifully colored background reslting from it. The face is wonderfully segregated from the world as a result.

This one is a very nice shot: the composition, the colors, the sharpness, are good; Alex is handsome and his face's expression, with his head's tilt, as a puppet just jumping out from its box, is funny also. Greetings, Marine
