yes, a humourous photo indeed. good title, as i wouldn't have known these were chickens from the thumbnail, the things u see in indonesia are fascinating. i guess this was scanned? hence a little loss in quality? the shot is very good though, and i like the tilt of the bike.

Cessy, I have the impression that you gave to much foreground and a crop iliminating most of the road to have a perfect square as frame.

Rural life is not always easy,the people have to work very hard to make do.
The scene which I will believed is typical of the country gives a good idea of the life there and the country.So much dust,hard to breathe.
The light is good here,just right on the bike and the dust cloud removes the harhness of the strong light in the BG.
