I never had a clue that rice is planted this way, in water, it must be very hard. I can't really tell u how good this photo of yours looks and the red in the middle of the green-ahhh, can't be better. Beautiful captured pose of the woman in front.

Great photo! I really like the contrast of the orange and green. Very 'typical' shot of Indonesia and a snapshot of life. I might have cropped a little from the right side because it's a bit empty compared to the left side, and it would decentralise the lady in the front too.

This is a great picture with excellent reflections in the water! I like the way you composed the image with the horizon line placed high in the frame. The red color of the peasants' clothes contribute a lot to the success of this image! Thank you for sharing! I wish you a Happy New Year!

beautiful composition. the red dress of the planter in foregroud with greenery looks good. liked the conical hat. but whats she doing in the middle? (she is not planting a new row of samplings). maybe replacing a bad one. tfs.

Hi Tina,
This one is even better than your previous posting in colour. Here the wonderful light is more scatterd all around and creates a nice warm glow over the image. The bending of the palmtrees makes it on the composition even stronger...i really like that part.
The woman in red int he foreground is stealing the show...wonderful red, great exposure.

Another picture postcard from java. Well composed Tina, the women in the foreground demands our attention and the lovely morning light is gorgeous, bringing out the red and greens. While I love bokehed images I have a feeling this is even better than the last, the depth and details are all to see.
