Photographer's Note

I dedicate this upload to Malgo because she asked, in a comment to my last post if I had visited any places in Japan other than Tokyo. Also, because Malgo has a lot of really good photos from Japan on this site.

So yes, I have seen some other destinations in Honshu, among all Jigokudani and Hakone.

Anyway, this is just another nothing special, taken on my second day in Japan in an open air museum in the village of Oshino. What I learned on that day was that, in Japan, wherever there is a pond, there are koi fish and wherever there are koi fish there are Japanese tourists feeding them. It's one of the national pastimes, like watching sumo and soaking in hot water in an onsen. You don't even need to bring your own bread as proper fish food is provided for a few yen in all tourist attractions with koi ponds.
