Photographer’s Note

I was in Kobe when I took this picture, here you can see one person running with a baton, actually in the whole event there were over 5 people with batons and each team had 4 members.

It was funny to watch because before they ran they did some ritual like thing and during the whole run everyone was cheering and jumping up and down, you might see some girls doing just that in the picture.

Nice use of panning to capture the chaos and fast action of this event. Aesthetically, the subject might be better off a little off-center (perhaps left of center). But timing and pose of your main subject is just right.
