Photographer’s Note
Asashi-Kaikyo Bridge near Kobe in Hyogo prefecture, Japan. I was here during a cold day in January 2004. This bridge is one of the longest suspension bridges in the world and connects Honshu (the largest Japanese island) with Awaji-Shima island. It separates Osaka Bay from the Internal Sea (Setonaikai). The bridge is part of a road connecting Honshu vastly populated metropolitan area of Osaka-Kobe to Shikoku island, one of the main four island of the Japanese archipelago. It was morning and although cold, the day was pleasant.
We were at the Honshu side of the bridge. You can easily reach this good observation point from the train station along the West JR Kobe line (Maiko station). There are some places and a kind of seaside park where you can stroll and have a walk in front of the sea. You could visit the bridge museum and climb on an observation point at the level of the street on the bridge.

Benvenuto a TE, Marco!
Ciao! Livia

Hi Marco, nice composition of an architectural marvel! You picked a great vantage point to view this bridge and provided a good description for others to give it a try! I've done a quick workshop as the railing was a bit distracting for me, hope you like it.
