Photographer’s Note
In Kyüshü island you can find the volcano called Aso San. It's the world's most active volcano caldera. And it's true, this caldera is very famous for the locals and the "gainjins" (tourists or savage) but the summit is regulary declared off limits due to toxic gas emissions, and you can only visit the volcano museum.(It's not the same! I thought) I waited for 3 hours and when I was near to desist, I heard something about that it was posible to go up and I was there, on the summit, but... at the end I preferred to be looking the volcano far away and walk around it that to be on the summit. Nothing to see, only some smoke and some good lunar landscapes.
Original picture, levels and contrast.

This is a pretty cool shot. I like the use of black and white and you've got the tones done very nicely.
I wonder what this guy is thinking about? He looks fairly peaceful with it all!
I'd just like to point out that "gaijin" means simply "foreigner" and is no more an insult than the English word foreigner. However, if somebody wants to use it as an insult then they will, which, as English, is all in the intonation :P
