Lot of energy..youve done well lto get the entire cruise boat...Perfect use of the elements with the right perpective..gives enough depth to the compo..the exposure seems right..the colours are indeed well saturated..

This seems to be a very special ship as I can see both sails and steam or motor..!
Old sailing vessels were also used as training ships in Norway, now they are mostly used for cruise and race puposes...
I like the composition, good colours and sharp fine details!
...
And I wish that a HAPPY NEW YEAR will come your way!

Hi Hisashi,
your comment on my picture (thanks!) brought your picture collection to my attention. Good surprise: you show none if the "usual" subjects and you are an excellent photographer. This picture here is a good example, it shows several contrasting worlds, from the clowns to the sailing ship to the modern harbor to the few flowers in pots. Just great!

you are right, let the Year 2008 set the sail under the clear blue sky! excellent photo, Hisashi, I like a lot how the building in the background mirrors the shape and colours of the sail. superb colours and details, considering what seems to be a harsh midday sun. great shot.
