A Proton-M launch vehicle carrying the HotBird-8 telecommunications satellite arrives at Pad 39 by rail.
As technicians prepare to tilt the rocket into the vertical position, the train that rolled the rocket to the pad is withdrawing, to make room for the mobile service tower, which can be seen in the background.
The camera is pointing southwest.
