It was on the high-altitude lake of Kol-Ukok where I met this boy. If you are the only little boy in the neighborhood, the vast meadows are your playground and the grown-ups are busy with their daily routines - you'd probably get interested in a foreign girl approaching you with a black device that she keeps looking into. And if she shows you how to make sense of the rope you are playing with and how to spin it around and lasso - you'd probably be trying to lasso yourself and laughing. The boy was.

I like the joy on this little boy's face. Nice job capturing the motion of the lasso, and the lovely green grass in the background. He's a real cutie!! :-)

A wonderful portrait, such an expression of joy at managing to throw the lasso! Good DOF with a nice bokeh, the boy stands out beautifully. And you caught the lasso in a good position - it is in flight, but it is not covering the boy's pretty face. Have a nice day, Dasha
