Actually somewhere over this rainbow is the beautiful lake Issyk-Kul. The rain was fast approaching from behind me but I had just enough time to capture this amazing double rainbow (although you have take a very close look to see the other one on top of the main one:) As a quick fact, the colors of the secondary rainbow are inverted compared to the primary bow, with blue on the outside and red on the inside. The dark area of unlit sky lying between the primary and secondary bows is called Alexander's band, after Alexander of Aphrodisias who first described it.
