Silkroad travels: Kyrgyzstan

My bicyclist friends Martin (red) and Blaise have arrived on top of Irkestam pass (3'536 m asl.), about 30 km before the Chines border. This will not be the last pass on the way to Kashgar, two more await us in Xing Jiang.
In the background you see the Trans Alay chain again. The picture was taken by Herman.

It must be hard to go by bycicle over all those stones!!
So is about the ground, but around you had paradise!!
I like to see a few people in the wonderful landscape.
Light must have been very strong.
