Everyone looking at something different, careless of what's happening around them. It sounds to me as an evidence of theri interior peace (or what are they're looking for).
Only I would have preferred if you did not crop the younger on his back.

what a nice scenery! the 3 monks together, but each of them for himself. The guy in the centre is my favorite. I like his attitude.

Nice shot, with those three monks in very different attitudes. The composition is good with one monk in each third. I believe, your picture can be improved by playing with brightness and contrast in order to darken a bit the white foreground without compromising the colours. Well done.
