Hi Angshu,
I've been there last june and I guess you took your shot from Phu Si hill: it gives a superb POV.
Well saturated colors.
I'm agree with you that Luang Prabang is a jewel: one of the most beautiful cities I've ever visited!

Hi Angshuman,
Excellent bird's eye view of the place. It looks every bit as beautiful as you have described, a little mysterious specially with the mist around. I think the WS version looks a touch better.
Best Wishes

Hello Angshu,
Good point of view from top of the hill!
The curving river makes a fine element, and the bridge itself is impressive...
Beautiful rain forest colours, I like the fading details in the distance!

Hi Angshu, to me this OV is perfectly OK, I don't think the PP work in WS is that necessary. Well framed with very nice colors esp. the greens and nice architecture scattered here and there. I do remember this river but I don't remember this bridge... so TFS! Daniel

i also love Luang Prabang a ture gem in south east asia. What i like in your picture is the fact that it really feels like a gem lost in the jungle. Great strong colors in the foregorund fading up in the mist/dust in the background.

Bonjour Angshu,

Hi Angshuman,
A good POV of the wooden bridge, of the river and of the forest, the photo has a good composition, DOF and nice colors. Thanks for sharing.
Pierre
I loved Luang Prabang to but unfortunately my husband was ill there and only saw the inside of our hotel room. He wants to go back and see what he missed.
Great POV here and I like the gradual fading into the mist. I think the WS PP makes it marginally better but if I hadn't seen it I wouldn't have thought anything was lacking here. Good work

Hi Angshu,
Your framing does show this jewel of a village, hiding in the trees as it curves along the river. As others have commented, the misty layers of hillside help show how the village is cradled by the mountains.
As to the WS, I like the increased sharpness in the trees and the way the WAT on the hillside pops out of the mist. I miss the pink tone of the river. I might have just sharpened and selectivly processed the building, or used layers & selected out the river and made the lighten & saturation changes on the rest.
HLJ, Pat
Olá Angshu, the diferences are no so noticeble but I think that the WS got bit more vivid, especially the golden Wat, so I choose it over this one.
This is the capital of the country, right? Amazing! Only 22,000 and all I can see here is greenery. I wouldn't mind at all living in such a pretty and relaxed city. I gues that in Southeast Asia the mist is a constant, but that can give wonderful photos with an exotic atmosphere. I like the way the view gets proglessively less vivid as our eyes move to the far distance. The curve of the river is very beautiful and I like the placement of the bridge as the main attraction.
Friendly regards,
Ricardo

Very nice point of view on the bridge and river. I like the colors of the foreground, a little less those of the background which is a bit foggy.
All the best,

Hi Angshu
Fine composition here of this amazing place. I just like how the river leads our enter into the frame, towards the bridge and then left again to the ancient building at the left. Also nice misty sky that gives some moody atmosphere. Good documentary.

I really like the way the image fades into the background. I don't think it needed the PP Angshu, there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the main posting. Lush green colours, great perspective. Nice work.
Best wishes

Hi Angshu! I've seen many excellent portrait shots of the people of Luang Prabang here in TE, and I must agree with your notes. What a lovely small city. The fog made the photo more dramatic...your POV clearly shows us how the city looks like. rgds.

Hi Angshu - not the best light, but the mist and haze have their own unique appeal, good compo, being extra picky I wish there was a train crossing the bridge :-)

Hello Angshuman,
Great landscape with all this colours of the natural scenery, this curvy river and this bridge hanging strongly against the flow of this river. The mist covering the background mountains adds a lot to the atmosphere of this photo.
Cheers.

Hi Angshu!
I think the actual photo is the better one because for me, over sharpened areas just kill the picture.
Your angle of view in this shot is fantastic! It's very nice to see the distant hills covered with trees, the big architectural beauty on the left, the river, and the Sisavangvong bridge all in one frame. Texture of the vegetation and the river nicely captured. Good job my friend.
