[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
A sunny smile from a sunny monk on a sunny morning in Luang Prabang. At first hesitant to have his picture taken, this monk was joking with his friend when I took this picture. I sure did miss the yes but I had a good substitute: a warm and sunny, genuine smile.

I hope you have a good day today.

AWE-SOME, the smile is contagious and genuine, showing a sweet soul, and great reflexes from your part, you pressed the shutter at the right second! the contrast of blurred green- sharp orange is excellent.

Very nice portrait! and a contagious smile as well. Very pleasant to see! I wonder about the objects at the sides of the face, curtains?

A very happy picture that made me smile as well. I love the bg too! Super shot Manuel. :D

A very Manny style portrait, great shot as usual.

Un sourire naturel non forcé, joie de vivre, heureux !
Je suis toujours admiratif du don que vous avez pour rendre les gens heureux.
Merci Manny.
A not forced natural smile, a joy of living, happy!
I am always admiring of the gift which you have to return happy people.
Thank you Manny.

Wonderful portrait. Not only a genuine smile, but very well composed in terms of DOF and the colours of the background.

A good day for you too Manny.
Again a fine portrait of a man this time also to be relaxed in front of your camera. Well done. BTW have you changed your post work process or camera settings. For me it seems that the final touch of light, colours appears a little different from before?

Hi Manny. Another good informal portrait from you, although there are a few things I would have liked to see done differently. I think most importantly, this shot is over exposed. His face is very bright, almost blown out in some spots, and the background is quite bright too. I think a full stop less exposure would have made this one work better. If you were shooting in RAW, you probably could have done this in post processing. Your composition is good, although I wouldn't mind seeing him even further to the left of the frame. As usual, you have caught a very nice expression here.

Unfortunately today over here it's not quite as sunny as your photo and note, Manny. Great colorful compo with the monk seen "framed" by the building, and a very joyful and genuine-looking smile the guy is giving. Great shot.

Very good catch of this smyling face, very good DOF and very good composition, I think that you should sharpen the picture a little bit.

very nice portait Manuel, nice compo, good technically, wonderful colors, good work

Thanks for sunny pic and sunny note, Manuel.

Here we see good DOF, good contrast between monk's face and surroundings. And sunny smile, of course.

I've seen this photo of yours before, probably on your Pbase site. It's really a great shot. One of those one in a million moments. It's very simple but still very alluring. Just a captivating smile and a very warm expression overall. Wish I'd gotten that shot.
