Harvesting Padi, a photo from Kedah, Ouest

Photographer's Note

This is a modern way of harvesting padi. Used to be manually and use of heavy labour in cutting and separating the padi and its stalks.
Now with the harvester, farmer straight away sell their produce to the dealers. The lorry just wait at the padi plots.

Interesting to show the modern way to harvest the padi . Even the ancient way still esists , I suppose . And the picture is very well composed and full of colors .

Interesting picture of this machine. I wanted to photograph this machine for my son who enjoy to see agricultural machines but me is not made a success. Great colors and the bridge guide our view to ricefield and the hill in background. Well done.

wonderfully chosen POV and composition. Never seen such a strange bridge it is almost like it has been bent over to allow a large load through. Well seen, composed and taken. Great Shot!

The distance between the bridge and the mountain is giving depth to the composition. the point of view is shpowing the details and colors of the field and of the mountain. The afternoon light is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

Great shot and good brief notes depicting this aspect of daily life and a touch of modern machinery replacing the traditional manual method. The light is just right adding a lot of detail and clarity. Well balanced compostion and good pov, key elements are perfectly placed, a picture with good depth and perspective. The small bridge leads eyes into the scene and beyond to the backdrop while yellow and red colors act as points of anchor and great visual effect as well. Sharpness is crispy with rich color and good presentation, nice scenery! Well done and thsk for sharing. Salam

Unorthdox perspective attracts me.
Although usually the road is used to lead the eye to deeper in the image, it comes to an end in the other side of the bridge in this case. This photo succeeded in attracting the attentions. Good work.

A good shot with good note to remind us that the suppliers always immediately deliver the fresh plantations from the paddy field. Tidy shot to show the farm land through the little bridge, nice mountain as background, thanks for sharing a relaxing view at the country side.

Magnifique photo au temps de la moisson et excellente perspective. Chez-nous c'est l'hiver et la neige à ce temps-là de l'année. Un peu drôle de voir le pont avec les gardes inclinés. Excellente composition et rendu des couleurs.

An interesting agricultural documentary, showing how men are replaced by machines!
As industry is competing for manpower and offers higher saleries, old trades like farming often are suffering and have to find other ways...
The bridge is an effective lead-in to the scene!
