Bonjour Catherine,

Cette photo a un vrai cote reportage sur le vif. Je vois que l eclairage n etait pas facile, mais le resultat final est agreable, la dominante jaune n est pas sensible sur le visage.
La note est tres interessante.

Beau cadrage et belle attitude! Tu as déclenché au bon moment.
Le scan est par contre nettement moins bon avec un effet de trame très visible et c'est bien dommage car la photo papier doit être superbe!

Couldn't resist the Chinese opera pic, Cath..I loved each 7 every one of your earlier posts. Fine colours, details, especially on her jewellery & expression. I can see beads of sweat over 'her' lips. Lovely shot!

Bonsoir, Catherine.
Le succès des photos représentant les personnes masquées, maquillées, etc...n'est pas évident. La beauté coloristique de ce genre de photo les rend parfois difficiles d'accès.
Et pour faire ressortir quelque chose de plus que la couleur, il faut qu'il y a qch de plus : je pense que tu y es parvenue, en cadrant parfaitement bien et en captant ce regard oblique.

Superb catch I will say. At first glance I thought that she was wearing a mask. The portrait, the colors, the realisation, and the sharpness and details are wonderful. The use of the blurred background, superb.

PS. The best time to take a photo of the three icons from the living room is probably in spring when the light is still lateral and the sunset almost paints them orange. You are more than wellcome.

Excellent! Very interesting, because the texture and detail of the costume, the "Chinoiserie", is directly opposed by the simple stylization of the face and its make-up. Very cool portrait.

Ce que j'ai aimé ici, c'est cette surprise de trouver ce visage chinois dans cette série turque... Fatalement, on le remarque, on y va et on apprécie... Très belle réalisation (alors que je me dis que les conditions devaient être dures), très belle compo tout simplement.

I like the clarity & colour in this superb portrait. It's good that she's looking sideways, away from the camera, too. The tight framing & dark bg enhance the image. Tfs!
