Hi Lucie.
Nice contrast between the perfectly still dunes in the background and the wind stirred one in the foreground. Nice POV and colour tone.
Not sure about deserts being close by though. ;)

Congratulations on your impending move! I hope everything works out the way you want, and you have lots of opportunity to take photos of your beloved desert. This is a great shot, with the gradations of light and dark. The wind palying with the sand is wonderful too, give a sense of life and change to this. Excellent!

Hello, Lucie--
Nice work on this one, the geometry is very interesting, and the windblown sand adds a nice soft effect to the front line against the crisper back lines.
Thanks!

Very beautiful my dear. You really are a master portraying the desert. Love these silky chocolate tones contrasting to the fiery reds of Morocco. At 1/800 you captured a good deal of movement here so the wind must have been really strong. The effect is crucial for the success of this one. That and the amazing interplay between light and shadow. Great compo, great photo!
PS: I see you really are planning moving East... Wish you all the best.

Hi Lucie!
Nice graphical work, a sharp like a razor and blurred by a wind desert. I like the colour tone as well.

this is all you, Lucinka; I am especially impressed by catching this slight wind blow - what it does to the smallest particles of sand, which - when elevated - looks almost like a fog; great image, tfs - Tomek

Hello Lucie,
Une vue sensuelle et tout en douceur de cette dune ! Le vent amène beaucoup de mouvement à cette image très calme ! Les nuances de teintes sont parfaitement rendues et les ombres apportes beaucoup de relief à cette image !
Bravo.

Lucie, this is simply an amazing shot. I've allways been fascinated by the desert. You captured a very clean and simple image from these dunes, yet there's so much to tell about it. The interaction of the lines from the dunes, the wind and the motion of the sand, everything is so gracefull. Once again, this photo is so serene and so full of movement. Composition and exposure are perfect.
Well done.

Lucie as far as I am concerned there is nothing more compelling than having a nice Canon DSLR and a good zoom lens shooting in low angled light in the desert. I have yet to find a desert to shoot photos, but have seen many shots in magazines and web sites. This photo of yours is nothing short of amazing and wonderful to see the movement of sand in the evening ( I assume ) light. Gorgeous!

Tank you very much, Lucie.

Wonderful, the diagonal lines, being the first one spread out by the wind, it is quite inspiring. Well done.
Going to my favorites! :)

Hi Lucie
Let me first tell you that you are very talented, and this does not apply to a few pictures gere and there but to the majority. I wish I had more time to look at them one by one.
Friendly regards - Izzet

Hi Lucie - the cris-crossing of diagonal dunes combined with the dynamics of the wind make an awe inspiring combination. The angle of sunlight also helps. I'm thinking of going there in september actually, probably as a part of a Irkutsk-Beijing trip. I hope you find similar landscapes in Kuwait, I've never been there, but I hear it's even duller than Qatar, which says a LOT!
