Photographer’s Note
Another shot at Huzirt, a remote area of Mongolia, rarely shown on TE. I couldn't get any lower, to get the whole horse against the skyline. The sunset backdrop was a bonus.

Bonjour, cher Chris,
La Mongolie terre sauvage !
Très jolie prise de vue de ce cheval sur un horizon de soleil couchant.
Le ciel rose annonce un signe de vente.
Amitiés.

Hi Chris,
The locals must have been fascinated watching you going down that far to take this shot ... possibly something that they'll never comprehend with tourists :) Lovely skies in the background. Is that a satellite disc in the far right? Well captured and presented. Well done! Thanks for showing us this remote place.
Cheers,
Renier

Hello Chris,
The horse makes a very nice silhouette against the pink evening sky. Very nice tones and clarity. I, maybe, would have cropped out the building on the left.

Salut Chris,
Toi aussi tu as osé ce contre-jour sur un coucher de soleil. Après coup, la retouche aurait permis d'éclairer les parties sombres et d'assombrir les parties claires. Tu ne l'as pas fait. Dommage ! ;o)
Ciao mon Ami

Hi Chris,
Good idea to post some photos of this seldom photographed part of the world. The entire gallery of Hujirt consists of your photos. I like the soft pink hue and the semi-silhouetted horse. I think that a bit more saturation and slight sharpen would improve this photo. I hope this horse is kept out of the winter weather, as you say; it gets particularly cold in these parts. Good work, your Mongolian photos are enlightening.

Hello Chris,
I would have to say that this old horse has an attitude towards photographeras its ears are pinned back as you approach it. The dark scene makes me sbelieve that this poor old horse is soon to retire, it looks tired and unassuming of its role in your trek.
