Her father told us she was waiting for a suitor, considering her natural beauty, I dont think will have to wait long.
While Pa-O girls are free to choose their own partners the ritual is very different from that in the west.

Super low-key portrait that has tons of atmosphere. She clearly knew she was being photographed, but has managed to look natural and confident. I don't suppose you had any control over the clothes, but but the red and blue make a great contrast. I agree: she won't have long to wait!

Light is more subtle here than in your previous portrait. The decorated ear is brought out nicely, as is the surprisingly European-like face. Good format.

Superbly shot portrait, with subtle shadows and light, and well resisted temptation to boost contrast and colour too much, as the black background takes care of that very well. You did well to catch her looking not too self-conscious and smiling pleasantly but not exaggeratedly. You got at just the right angle for this one.

Hello Elaine. I am glad to see that you are still contributing great images. This one islovely, a tender presentation with lovely colour and a sweet extressing. i might have wanted to see just a little reflected light in the dark side of the face, howeve, but it is a small point. regards kevin

This is a superb portrait. I love the way that the light is very directional. The red scarf stands out against the black BG and contrasts so well with the dark blue clothes. Beautiful!
