Balancing Boulder
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
| After searching, I realized that Bob had already posted a shot of this rock, one of the most revered Buddhist sites in Myanmar. There is a complex mythology of how this boulder ended up atop this mountain. Supposedly the rock is in the shape of the head of an ancient hermit who was a recluse here. |

The off centre composition works well. You have really caught the glow on the side of the boulder. Good one.
Interesting point of view of a perpetuel catched place. Not ordinary. Thank you.
You shot this one later in the day that when I took mine. And you used a different angle. Your shot does a much better job getting the detail of the hti, the stupa umbrella.
It's really too bad that the observation area/railing were built where they were. It blocks the view of the bottom of the boulder.
The sky is a little noisy, you might want to clean that up a bit.
