Hi Didier,
The structure reminds me of the tradational house near inle lake, presented in your "meal time" photo. It is like a turned down basket, and look perfectly natural. A nice moment and gentle gestures captured, the turban and the red bag add a lot in terms of colors.

Hi Didier,

It is true that the lesser possessions you have, the happier and more content you are, the simpler your life will be. This hut reminds me of the native huts back in my homeland, it allows so much fresh air in, and some mosquitoes too :P And doesn't that smile just radiate contentment?

Very nice daily life photo, with the textures of the walls, floor, the wrinkles on his forehead and hands, the natural colors and the lighting. Awesome work! Thanks for sharing!

Ce qui frappe sur cette photo, au delà de cette bonne composition en diagonale, c'est la très belle lumière sur le premier homme, d'autant que du coup il se détache parfaitement devant ce fond sombre.
une très belle réalisation très expressive.

Salut Didier,

J aime beaucoup cette photo, surtout par sa lumiere tres douce qui laisse entrevoir les details dans les parties un peu enfoncee de la maison mais qui en meme temps met bien en evidence cette homme qui ouvre la photo sur la gauche.
Il y a un leger tilt sur la gauche, ca cree un desequilibre mais au final ca cree aussi une sorte de dynamisme dans l image qui n est pas desagreable.
Au final, couple avec ta note sympathique qui illustre les valeurs d hospitalite de ces gens, ca fournit une tres belle photo de reportage sur les valeurs humaines des birmans.
En plus, quel sourire naturelle sur cette homme.

Olá Didier, I wonder if you sent the photo to him...You had a few drinks and the image got tilted :))) It's a fantastic portrait, with great management of the light and excellent sharpness considering the 1/13s. Love his orange 'turbant' and happy smile, while your guide(?) doesn't care at all. It reminds me the places I've slept in, while treking in Laos.

L'alcool semble avoir fait son effet... ça penche un peu non !!! (je plaisante). Il a un sourire bien sympathique cet homme. Belle gestion de la luminosité, j'aime bien l'arrière plan et notamment cette lumière qui entre par l'ouverture de cette case. Joli et intéressant portrait.

I like this daily life scene, very intimate. Good exposure control, good hand to avoid shaking (photo taken at 1/13sec and 18mm focal distance). A bit tilted but it doesn't bother much.

J'aime bien ta note et j'adore cette photo ! Quelle bonne tête il a, ce vieil homme, tu as de la chance d'avoir eu un tel partenaire pour boire... Mais est-ce bien le saké, là aussi ? Je pensais que c'était plutôt au Japon... et t'a-t-on servi ce breuvage chaud ? Etait-ce fort ? Etait-ce BON ? Bref, plein de questions, pardonne ma curiosité !
