A lot of 'Venice' around the world! I've seen Venice like this in Brazil and also in Indonesia :-). But this is a very nice Myanmar Venice. Thanks for sharing!

Hello Didier.
Another very pleasing and interestng daily life shot from your Myanmar series. The water colour is such a feature of this one. nicely set off by the blues in the building and the clothes of the men. It's a great viewpoint and it makes me wonder where this little 'canal' goes after it disappears around the bend - maybe into Lake Inle. The shot has a great sense of depth. The leaves of the tree make a nice touch in the pale sky.

Très belle photo. Le cadrage vertical donne du dynamisme à l'image et une grande profondeur.
La scène est très bien capturée.

Hi Didier,
Your vertical composition makes the whole image. It shows great depth but also brings a tight framing where everything fits perfectly. The colour setting is deep with hard contrast and saturated colours, i like that a lot in here...great work.

Bien vu ce cadrage vertical.
La succession des barques accroche bien le regard qui se dirige naturellement dans l'image.
Dommage que tu n'aies pas pu bénéficier d'une lumière plus sympathique...

Superbe compsotion vace ce canal qui s'enfonce dans la photo dans ce cadrage verticale. Les couleurs sont top notamment celles de leau toute boueuse. Une ambaince super dans cette photo.

Un bon PdV , sans doute depuis un pont, surplombant ce chenal et l'alignement des barques entrainant le regard au fond de l'image. Tu as tire le meilleur parti d'une lumiere assez faible avec de bonnes couleurs contrastees. Details bien nets

Tu sembles avoir une prédilection pour ce genre de sujets et c'est vrai que c'est très photogénique : cette rivière chocolat, ces vieilles barques, mais aussi les maisons à l'arrière-plan : tout ça est très intéressant et particulièrement fin dans les détails - très belle vue, j'aime aussi beaucoup les couleurs !

The detail is exquisite here and the colors have great clarity: the framing of the two boats travelling up the canal gives great DOF.
You really get into the places you visit showing the country in a way that few others see. I think it's because you take your time, travelling by foot and by bicycle that allows you to contact the people of the country.
