Hi Marilyn!
A nice and typical scene from this wonderful lake.The light is wonderful here and your POV well chosen.A boat?
I thought about going there again next winter,but today I booked a flight to Cochin.I`ll be in Kerala and Tamil Nadu from january 1st till 31st.

Ces bateaux à fond plat sont vraiment fait pour les eaux très calmes... Très belle photos avec un éclairage très doux. Le constraste avec l'arrière plan est appréciable et fait bien ressortir ce pêcheur sur son embarcation. Le reflet est superbe de netteté. Beau travail, merci Marilyn.

Very pretty! I like the framing and the huts in the bg are a bonus. Nice scenery. An interesting boat (it looks a little scarey to me :) A scene I don't see in my part of the world. TFS and have a great day!

Dear Marilyn,
The lake is famous because i have seen many pictures from it. Would love to go there someday and see it with my own eyes. It always has a wam colour toning inside, which is probably the natural light when going there early or late during the day. This scenery is wonderful with the boat, the man and his reflection inside the lake.
A well composed image....i like it.

Ca c'est de la 'golden hour'! la lumière de fin 'd'après midi a bien réchauffé les couleurs, l'eau bien lisse, a peine ridée offre de superbes reflections de cette scène intéressante...C'est vrai, ça ressort bien sur ce fond légèrement estompé...

It looks like the golden light of early morning. Being on a boat yourself gave you the perfect POV for this image. Your low position close to the water has emphasised the translucence on the water's surface making the reflections particularly appealing. Wonderful shot.

Ils sont impressionnants ces bateaux, si plats, si chargés... Mais ce qui est encore plus fort, c'est quand un bateau à moteur passe à côté : on se dit que l'eau va monter sur le fond si fin et que c'est la fin de la cargaison. Mais non... Cela passe toujours. Lumière bien chaude également.
