hello Bertrand,
your haiku-style poems always pick up one aspect of the photo that I might not have noticed before, like the boats heading in different directions, but once I put together your note and the photo, I feel that it is the best and the only combination possible and the aspect that you have highlighted is the most important. I've always been crazy [in a good way, hopefully ;)] about details and small things that might not be immediately visible, so I like a lot your approach. it makes this fairly mundane scene very special, and shows that with good imagination there are wonders in the smalest things. excellent work, my compliments.

Bonjour,

Je suis en Bretagne, et cet après midi sur le port de Concarneau : il y avait des bateaux jaunes, il y avait des bateaux bleus, il y avait des bateaux jaunes et bleus .....

C'est je pense quelque chose de commun a beaucoup de marins du monde entier : les couleurs vives de leurs bateaux.

De très jolies couleurs sur les coques de ces bateaux qui semblent s'entrechoqer.
La forme très étrange du bateau jaune est étonnante. Je ne sais pas si je monterais la dessus !;-)

un vieux rafiot avec des couleurs encore bien marquées et qui me font penser a ma photo ou les couleurs sont presque identiques sauf que la grandeur n'est pas la même

Like Christine, I like the way your photo shows the details of life on this big old boat. Loving boat life, this seems like relatively luxurious living. I wonder if it's still there? I believe you must think often of the people of Myanamar as well.

j'aime toujours essayer de remarquer combien les bateaux diffèrent dans leurs formes et couleurs, d'un pays à l'autre quand je visite les ports dans de nouveaux pays lorsque l'occasion se présente. j'aurais aimé faire un voyage avec toi parceque justement il me semble que nous partageons les mêmes goûts - Izzet

Ces images dans les couleurs du soir ont toujours un plus au niveau de la lumiere, ici cela se ressent dans les tons du bateau de droite et cela contribue a bien augmenter l'impression lumineuse que delivre cette scene de bord de riviere.

Bertrand, your gallery is very good, you see dramatic things in the ordinary world I think. I like this, there was probably a lot of sky or horizon or a lot of nothing that you have shot around to get the heart of it. Technically excellent, great photo my friend.
