Effectivement, je préférerais avoir affaire à ces garagistes qu'au mien. Quels sourires... (même si l'un est un peu édenté!). Ils sont merveilleux, isolés tous les deux sur la route, avec cette jolie lumière arrivant de la droite.

Hello Bertrand.
Sharpness and a good candid capture of the children's faces is everything in this shot. You have done it very well. And without producing something too 'cute'. The size of the pump compared to the boy is a strong feature of the scene; he hardly looks srong enough to use it! I like the composition, with the children just a little to the left of centre. The bike's wheel being turned helps to fill the space and adds a further shape to the picture. Very nicely done.

Une bien jolie scène de l'enfance, colorée et cadrée avec soin.
Leur visage reçoit juste ce qu'il faut de lumière pour mettre en valeur leur visage.
Le photographe doit être discret, ces enfants le regardent, mais il ne perturbe pas leur occupation.

Bertrand,
this is such agreat moment, and they seem very amused by you taking their photo. Lovely smile on both brother and sister. I remembered veru well that I have to do this so many times when I was little, I had a bicyle with a bad tire, but had no money to take it in to the mechanic to fix it and having to stop so often to pump air. Great daily life shot with some much warm and joy with great quality and excellent composition. Thanks
