I love this view where the sharpness goes from very sharp in the foreground to blurred in the distance. Your depth of field is perfecly mastered and enhances well the scene.
These flowers floating on the water seem to form a magic carpet...

Interesting to know this is a lake. I would think is a wet field but the boat definitely make me a believer. Nice depth with the shiny building in the distance still visible. The colours and details work out very nicely. Thanks for sharing :-)

Tu sais bien que j aime beaucoup cele ci avec ces deux plans bien distincts et tous 2 aussi intéressants et beaux l'un que l'autre! La lumière est super, et le cadrage excellent! ;D

elle est magnifique,celle-là aussi!J'aime beaucoup le premier plan avec le bateau idéalement placé dans les fleurs de lotus,et j'adore cette ambiance merveilleuse donnée par l'arrière-plan brumeux dans lequel on devine le temple sur la colline!La lumière est splendide!

some emptiness by the view and background mist, the lake covered by leaves let the eye and brain search for some reason of having a boat there. Well placed and good foreground clarity.

Ce bonhomme qui se détache, presque en lévitation sur son frêle bateau... Et cette pagode que l'on devine, là-bas au loin... L'équilibre de la compo est top.
Et je ne parle pas de ce tapis de fleurs blanches...

l'écrasement de la photo et le tassement de la profondeur avec le télé, donnent très bien ici.
La brume qui marque l'arrière plan, permet de se concentrer sur la scène devant.

Salut Marilyn,
Il est très intéressant comme le lac semble un champ de fleurs très mouillé. La perspective (comprimé para la tele) et le cadrage sont superbes, avec l'homme d'un coté et le temple doré de l'autre, immergé dans le brouillard bleue. Le DOF est parfait, quoiqu'il est "naturel" ou réglé au PP.

Intéressante compression de plans par la longue focale, le batelier semble tout proche et pourtant il n'en est rien.
Intéressante différence de contraste avec l'arrière-plan brumeux qui laisse entrevoir un temple surgit de nulle part.

Marilyn, c'est une photo très belle et très poétique. J'aime le premier plan de lotus et cet homme sur sa barque. Le lointain estompé par la brume laisse deviner un temple doré au sommet de la colline.

The hill and the building in far and in the hazy situation made the shot strong and I like the way you worked the photo nicely with its clarity in foreground and the carpet of the flowers which are floaating on the water.
the boat and the man' pose are a great point in the composition that I like,very well captured and composed with excellent sharpness,nicely done,

The DOF is excellent, focussing right upto where it should be...upto the boat, with the lotus flowers in the FG & then receding out of focus. Yet in the blur, the golden pagoda is an eye catcher in the distance. Beautifully composed & taken picture!
