Hi Marilyn,
I like the simplicity of this shot with the sky and water almost exactly the same colour and only seperated by that thin strip of green land. And then of course there is this wonderful long boat with its boatman and the reflections and nothing else to disturb the scene. Great!

Voici une très belle composition, structurée de fines bandes horizontales, seule la silhouette verticale de l'homme vient rompre ces lignes.

lovely panorama shot of the man and his boat on the calm water lake. I like your choice for the soft colors which works pretty well for the purpose of the photo. Nicely done!

what a peaceful place!!The same floating gardens,i saw also in Cambodia,but there the water were so dirty.I like the placement of the native boat in the frame,as the reflection of the oarsman on the water.Well done.

On sent bien la tranquillité de l'endroit, avec cette eau qui semble un miroir liquide, et l'air si pur avec une légère silhouette des montagnes au fond.... Le ramasseur d'algues, avec son chargement qui enfonce sa barque dans le lac montre bien la vie locale... LATW!!!
Au fait... Couleurs et netteté sont impeccables!!!

Une superbe photo, l'excellente luminosité offre un très beau reflet de cette embarcation et son propriétaire. J'aime beaucoup la ligne de terre qui sépare le ciel et l'eau. C'est curieux il me semble voir des reliefs en arrière plan, je me trompe ?

Amazing length of the boat...wonder how he manages to steer through the waterweeds. Like the framing, with the boat covering almost 80% of the frame. The weeds & plants also have been kept in perfect symmetry, I guess for you :-). The thin strip of green separates the sky & the water...& the reflection especially of the boatman is like a painting. Fine work Marilyn...well done!

Dear Marilyn,
I love your Burma photo's, they are amoung the best here together with Andreas his series from there. See here, the clarity, the peaceful and serene surrounding, like it is a sunday morning 8 am picture (maybe it is), so clean, with a very soft movement in the water, which makes the different of a still shot or that the image is alive....wonderful.
I missed this one, but for sure a real good one.
