excellent composition and balance of colours :) I like the rippled reflection in the water and the distant houses a bit in the haze. Either the boat was moving quickly, or it was windy... (I like the man standing on the boat!)

Très sympa en tous cas avec une bonne vue sur les passagers, on peut imaginer les liens familiaux... de gauche a droite: mari, belle mère, femme et fils, allant au (ou revenant du!) marché... Belles couleurs, bien net... le village au fond ajoute du contexte...

I think you can present hundreds of these shots and still they are not going to bore me. everytime i see images from this place it brings back a feeling if i am sitting in an other century...so peaceful and queit it seems.
Life must be hard for those people, but the area they live in looks wonderful, just as your image....well done.

Hello Marilyn.
A very fine daily life shot in completely natural looking colours. I like the effect of looking at this small boat from such a low viewpoint, and I like the relatively high position of the subject in the composition. The sharpness is superb and depth of field adequate for the village houses behind. The family group are nicely placed in this very low and narrow vessel. Well done.

Another photo from that lake, which became quite familiar to me due to your photos and notes. This one emphasizes on motion, which can be felt in the airblown shirt of the ruler. The ladies are certainly enjoying their shopping trip.

complex light with all the water glancing and this more grey sky. And you achieved to present us those unfab four in the boat (not a yellow submarine) in pleasant contrasts behind a nice water surface. The soft diagonal position adds depth together with the bit misty and blurred distance.

Une image plein de vie, apparentement tranquille, probablement plus dur qu'on imagine. Le PvD basse et la focale courte aide bien la compo, qui est très bien arrangée et cadrée. Le placement du bateau en haut au de la d'être très agréable graphiquement, donne autre importance aux réflexions diffuses.
