Hello Marilyn,

I am always amazed at such places like this one because they inspire so much beauty and history. The ruins still seem to stand still amid the advance of nature. Good perspective of this pl;ace showing a wide area. The image seem grainy but the nice warm tones make forget about the grainy texture. Thanks Marilyn.

Cet ensemble de temples est superbe.
J"aime beaucoup le rendu de ta photo. tout d'abord la lumière et les couleurs sont superbes. Ensuite l'ambiance générale est extraordinaire et le cadrage parfait.

Nice to be on 1st visit to your gallery.

I am amazed at the red color tone of the temple ruins which I suppose may come from the early morning light? Whatever it is, the glow effect is superb on this capture. Very nicely chosen POV to show such a wonderful landscape view. tfs

l'atmosphère est très particulière dans cette photo, due certainement a la lumière, un peu comme une vieille photo un peu passée, la non présence de personnage accentue le coté abandon du lieu.

Salut Marilyn,
Le cadrage fait très bon use du graphisme de l'architecture et sa disposition spatiale. La lumière chaude se combine très bien avec les couleurs des murs et de l'herbe sèche, qui contraste avec le verte de la végétation. Conjointement avec la brume elle crée une atmosphère mystique qui se combine bien avec la magie de la place.

La lumière est magique et j'aime ce paysage parce que j'y trouve une certaine interprétation personnelle notamment dans les couleurs (pas une simple "photocopie" de la réalité). Très beau POV aussi, bravo !

une image d'un autre temps, des tons clairs qui amplifient le rêve.
pas de bruits, pas de mouvements, l'homme semble avoir abandonné ces lieux il y a une eternité. fabuleux endroit qu'il doit être merveilleux de visiter ainsi.

j'aime la texture de cette photo qui la fait se fondre avec une toile de maitre. Des couleurs inhabituelles mais tellement séduisantes.
Il y a toujours cette brume là-bas qui crée une ambiance unpeu mystérieuse.

excellent contrasts in that misty conditions, captured from a good POV for overview with content. The placement of the large pagoda right, the tree close to the middle and the smaller pagoda roofs at the left seems to be planned.

Elle est très curieuse cette vue qui parait presque irréelle!
Cela ressemble aussi à une oeuvre peinte!
Cela fourmille de détails aussi interessants les uns que les autres. La lumière du matin accentue la couleur ocre-rouge et rehausse la beauté de ce panorama.

La luminosite dans le ciel est un peu difficile ici, par contre l'endroit est magnifique (ca on le savait deja) et le petit coup de lumiere oblique pour rehausser les tons chauds sur les batiments fort joli.

So you’re off again…Thailand & maybe Laos! I envy you, really! A very nice view of the ruins of Bagan in mellow light. A place high up in my list of must-see. Is the temple on the right the famous Ananda temple? At least the structure looks the same. Did you sharpen it a bit here? Otherwise a fine shot
