Dakshinkali is small village near Katmandu, famous for its Kali Temple, where sacrifices are performed twice a week. There are also many visitors who come just to pray and to burn incense sticks. There also are foreign visitors, but photography is not easy at all. I remember that I had a hard time to handle the light, the activities and isolate one action from passing crowds. Some places require patience, and a lot of pictures, this is one of them.

Excellent PoV and framing for this shot. Also the DoF is well controlled, but I wonder if it might have been worth leaving it deeper, in order to keep the hand in focus here. Not really sure about that.

Beautiful picture, really; colors,smog movement.
Only one problem: I ask myself: but what is going on ,on right?

excellent izzet. J'étais à Dakshinkali en avril dernier et je retrouve cette atmosphere extraodinaire. Outre la beauté de la femme, j'iame la circulation des flammes puis de la fumée autour du poing. Un seul regret, le bras en extension, trop rigide, ne s'accorde pas avec la légèreté de la fumée.

Well, the life itself requires patience i believe. if you want to do something great you have to be a patiente man, in photography as in any other subject... the roof of the Cestine Chapel took years to be painted!

I feel that you are a very passionate and patiente photographer Izzet, and the result is that you always manage to get beautiful photos.

This is just one more example!
