Hát wellcome back Erika a TE oldalain! Azt hittem már teljesen meguntad ezt a "társaságot"... De ehelyett jól elbarangóltál.
Jó lenne ha majd egyszer elmagyaráznád, hogy miképpen tudnék távol lenni a munkahelyemről fél évig v. akár 1-2 hónapig úgy hogy időközben ne rugjanak ki vagy ne töltsék be a helyemet valaki mással.. (:D. Érdekes...ezt a képet már láttam tegnap is, noha ma töltötted fel ide...Hmmm...ja igen a blogod-ban (:D. Ha hiszed ha nem, hellyel-közzel az egészet végiglapoztam, leginkább a képekre koncentrálva és ez nagyon megmaradt bennem, mert eszembe juttatta a hasonló minőségű Kaukázus-i v. Andok-beli kanyargós, szakadékmenti, egysávos (sok helyütt csak fél) de kétírányú "ösvényeket". Szerencsére mindig jeep-pel utaztam, mert a buszon tuti szörnyethaltam volna. Mivel még Indiában nem voltam, nagyon aktuálissá vált oda is 1 út, de csak tudod amolyan túristásan, 2-3 hétre. Elsősorban az Orissa völgyére gondoltam, mert imádok kevésbé ismert törzseket v. népeket látogatni és + ami az utamat és álmaimat koronázná, 1 igazi, szabadlábon levő tigris látványa és fotózása lenne.
Apropó! Nem mész a júni 28-29.-i Bp.-i TE meetingre?

et si je vois bien sur le toit du bus devant il y a quelqu'un ! impressionnant !
le rayon de lumière dans l'axe ajoute un côté mystique à la photo... un cadrage qui va vraiment bien avec le sujet...

I was lucky, I was sitting on the uphill side, but a wee bit scary at times. We had a guy on the outside who whistled if we got to close to the edge and whistled extra loud if we got really close. The folk on top must have felt it even scarier.

I love the way the background is so misty, giving an even bigger sense of the drop and the way your bus defines the right edge.

Szia Erika,
It does indeed look very risky, it reminds me of similar trips on local buses in Bolivia and there too they loose a significant number of vehicles and people despite permanent offerings to the Pachamama and other deities. Good light and framing for an excellent travel value.

Hááát .... Ezért fizettek Neked, vagy csak önszorgalomból ismerkedtél az öngyilkosság előtti pillanatok romantikájával? Mondhatnám, kár, hogy a tájból nem sok látszik (nyilván üvegen át fényképezted), de lehet, hogy így még jobb is, hiszen nem vonja el a figyelmet. Mindenesetre örvendetes, hogy épségben lejutottál onnan.

Bonjour Erika,
je suis vraiment impresionné par le rendu de cette route qui semble ne mener nulle part.
La brume et le contre jour effacent la profondeur mai accentue le vertige.
Un virage à ne pas manquer.

I've been on that road 7 times, but it always brings out the butterflies in my stomach (dk expression for being nervous BTW). It's a nice snapshot (hand out the window?), brings back memories and envokes more butterflies! Only the best photos do that!

Hi Erika, A scary road is putting it mildly, especially in a heavy bus overloaded with its centre of gravity so high. You did well to make it back. Good travel photo for TE. TFS. Murray.
