Photographer’s Note
'Mani walls' are stone plates, rocks or pebbles, inscribed with buddhist mantras (usually 'om mani padme hum') as a form of prayer. They are placed along the paths in regions under the influence of Tibetan Buddhism.

Hi Anna
Très beau cliché avec ce premier plan !
J'aime les pierres sculptées qui donnent de la matière, ces prières avant de s'aventurer sur les hauts sommets.
bravo

Hello Anna,
I saw these mani walls in norterhn India and it is amazing how pilgrims have used time and skills to leave their message honouring the Buddha. Very well presented together with the landscape and with the signs on the stones very well visible which it is not obvious at all.
Regards,
Paul

Hello again Anna,
Another lovely photo, I am particularly impressed with how you managed the light to get the exposure correct on the stones and the sky, great job.
Thx
Paul
