Hi Daniel,
Very good capture of this famous dome. Good angle as well. Sharpness and colors outsranding and all the details are perfectly visible. Good job.
Thanks for sharing...

belles couleurs et jolis détails, notamment les statues en haut des yeux que je n'avais jamais vues sur d'autres photos.
bon contraste avec le bleu du ciel. j'aimerais bien aller voir ces yeux un jour.
Vanessa

Hi Daniel,
Nice colours and the eyes really seem to be watching you. Good shot. But i think it could have done with more notes..?
Legend tells of bodhisattva Manjushri, a saint, who came in search of Swayambhu, manifested in the form of a blue flame in a lotus flower on the island. Unable to cross the water to reach the island, Mujushree took his mighty sword and cleaved a gorge in the hill at Chobar to let the water drain out--this presumably being an easier option than building a boat...:) Manjushree is thus considered by many to be founder of the Nepali nation as well as the stupa that is an icon of the country.
When the bodhisattva drained the waters of the lake to reveal the Kathmandu valley, the lotus of the lake was transformed into the hillock and the blazing light became the Swayambhu stupa.
Did you know that complex is nicknamed “The Monkey Temple” for its compliment of Rhesus Macaques who apparently delight visitors with their playful antics?
Good place to visit i guess.

A great composition with nice colors! Love the eyes. I have seen similar ones in photos (Of Burma I believe?). I like the bells or whatever those things are in the foreground. Very nice! JP

Another great one of yours Daniel, This is a very nice composition and great colours. (did you use polarizer filter for this shot or what? or just PP? Its such a deep blue sky!) i really love this shot. I am planning to work a lot on these Mahayana Buddha eyes when i go to Nepal in the future and Ladakh maybe.. (i have a great interest in Tibetan Buddhism anyway..)
thx for a great picture.

There is drama in this picture. Excellent colors and good use of a froeground object to make it less-centered.

My yesterday's pic: the net was a dream-catcher.

Hi Daniel, A powerful expression and a powerful image. It does show some power in the virtual world. A sharp and clear image. A well composed picture. -- Wes

Going in for a close-up tight crop on this famous building has produced a good detailed shot.

Hola Daniel, aquí has conseguido unos colores muy vivos y limpios.
