[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
A picture that I took in Hanuman -dhoka Durbar Square at Kathmandu. This is one of those lucky shots. I didn't blur anything in photoshop. I achieved a good blur with the use of 70-200 lens set at 2.8 f stop. Likewise, the hand belong to one of the devotees... not of someone I knew. I didn't wait too long for this. I just followed one man and took 3 shot of him spinning this religious ornament.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Stunning use of bobeh to isolate and dynamise at
the same time. Lovely green and gold dance ging on here, Manny.
Beautiful work,
Francis

Bonjour mon ami Manny,

Great performance here Manny!
The bokeh is just amazing!
Bravo..
Alex

This is not a usual Manny shot, but I like it very much. The blur is well administered here, leaving just a detail of the prayer wheel and the colours are so rich.
In my favourites it goes.

jejejejeje Manu

Very nice shot, I posted a similar shot
Very nice DOF!

K.

Good timing and well put shallow DOF! Gives the good impression of the single piece in the overall mass! The hand gives also a good proportion to the size and also to the depth of the scene.
Well done!

wow Manny, the photo is really nice, the final result wonderfull.

Great, great and great !
The very short DOF and the blurred hand... just perfect !
Well done

Perfect DOF, timing, and composition, Manny! I would never have thought that having the hand blurred would work so well, but it does. It captures the mood exactly. Regards, Ken.

I saw this photo yesterday and I've lost it. Now I have found it again and I think it is one of the best.
Also you wrote a nice note.
It is really special.

The DOF is magic, exellent use of tele lens. I like green color as well.

This is a spectacular shot Manuel. I love that one. Without the hand it wouldn't be nothing special but you's caught the right moment. I like the contrast and colors as well. Superb!

Hi Manny
The focusing that result the point to be sharp and the rest being blurred is quite an impressive technique. It give a different look at the image, as well.
Cool work, Manny.

I do love this photo ... it makes me shiver in a way because it reminds me of my friends who have lost their child this spring. So this means to me to continue, the world goes and goes, new life comes, others go.

So wonderful !
