[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
While we were traveling on the road going to Nagarkot, I went through an agony of gazing out and salivating at the visual delight that Nepal offers. I wished our bus could stop. It didn't. Our tour guide always said "there's a lot more to come". He doesn't have the heart of a photographer.:(

On our third day, we finally stopped in the ricefields. Light was not ideal, no poepl working...whew...I had to make the most out of it. Then came this schoolgirl. She was very amiable and always smiling. We took a picture of her. It was worth the wait.

Good looking shot. The expression of the girl is nice.
Well take

great sharpness and golden colors! a good photo MANNY!
no news from you??

eric

Very nice photograph of this young girl. The lighting is very nice and her expression is really very charming. Very sweet. I feel for your disappointment in not being able to stop for all the shots you want!

Hi Manuel,
Thanks for the nice shot. I like the opened look and really live smile. Good POV and back light. May be its some more grained than necessary but anyway well done. Regards. Denis.
PS As for Nepal you can use local transport without annoying guides. Although it's overcrowded sometimes but it safe and you can ask the driver to stop anywhere you want.

Salut Manny,
A great great shot!
I really like the way the light is touching her head..
Very nice.
Splendid colors too.
Bravo!
Alex

Manny,
Though the light was not ideal you really made the most of it and ended up with an excellent shot subtly yet perfectly lit!

Great picture, Manuel! Indeed, but drivers dont understand what is the passion of photography and to capture a moment!
This is a really nice capture, good shallow DOF and location of the girl at the left hand.

I like the simplicity of this shot. Especially i like this bright light, and what a great smile and lovely dirty shirt.

Hi Manuel
Cool portrait. Eventhough the color seem a little dark but it give the strong and dramatic feeling to the image.
I like, particularly, the paddy field at the background which gives impressive color and lighting toning.
Cool shot, Manuel.

The girl's cute smile and the backlighting are the two elements that make this special in my opinion, Manny. Composition is good but I would have maybe increased the exposure by half a stop - but that's only a very small point. Yes, few tour guides every understand the needs of photographers. Cheers . . . David

Thus is the delight of a motor-bike. You're your own boss. Take care. Great work!
