Mike, I really really really like the textures in the puddle. WOW!! A suggestion though, 'cause the rest of the photo makes me want to throw up. :) Just 'cause I'm so disoriented with the inversion AND the angle. Try throwing this into photoshop, rotating ~30 degrees counterclockwise and cropping it short and long. That will also remove what looks like powerlines (I hate power lines). Just a thought. I really love the reflection texture though. :)
Hummm... I'd say two versions of this shot. I like the disorientation that this version produces. It's a 'look and look again' type shot, takes a minute to figure it out.
I would get rid of the power lines though....
Unusual shot but very well seen indeed!
I'm not sure about it, but it keeps my eyes looking...

Too bad you left the sidewalk without it, the frame would have been even more interesting.

Your strenght is clearly composing pictures and add a personal touch. Here I wouldn't change the view or angle, but I would adjust the levels of the reflection. Either increas contrast to make it look a bit more "real" and by doing so, tricking people even more. Or adjusting it more towards high-key to create a more dreamlike atmosphere. This is what I see; people wandering off to a hidden place...
