An attempt at photographing something inanimate. Actually, it was my brother who took the picture of this first. When he showed it to me, I liked it so much so I did my own version.

We learn from each other. That's the essence of growth. I have taken ideas from so many phtographs here in TE and without this commnity, I won't be where I am now. I certainly have imrpoved.

Manny, you are one of the few photographers I know that can make a picture of something as simple as yarn look beautiful. As usual, excellent shot! :)

Hi Manuel,
You got a great capture under what seems as difficult light conditions.
I like the wool balls very much. The slippers are out of focus, a wider DOF could be more appropiate.

This has wonderful backlight. Well chosen DOF, and colours emphasizing the main subject.
Plus a lovely stone paving.

A different shot from you Manny, still life. My eyes travel along the hanging yarn to the final garment or rug. Good use of the natural light enough to see the full colours of teh yarns.

Well seen,Manny. Or I guess that should be for your brother really:) I like your version very much, with the light making the most of this simple scene. The colours of the yarn are great, and the disappearing strands make the lines of the shot less static. The slippers are a nice addition.

interesting shot manny! very unusual from you but the same pp technique and a good eye as usual.. I dont see you so much nowadays.. are you that busy?

This is a very evocative, lovely photo, Manny! I love the light here, and the various colors of yarn. Very well seen, and though we love your portraits, it is fun to see you do other photos, too!

I like all your shots and try to study as much as I can from them and imagine the environment and how you take them as you click your cameras.
As a beginner, this one I chose because its simple and has everything on it for learning purposes but very complicated from a technical point of view...thanks!
