[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
at Nepal last year.

this is a picture of a little kid all bundled up by the mother while roaming around the streets of Baktapur, begging. the sad look on his eyes defies the usual innocence among infant's eyes.

one of those pictures that will always stay on my mind.

Hi Manuel,
Very strong picture. And the strongest is not only in colours and contrast but as You said in the whole scene. I can feel strong emotions here from his side, but from Your side behind the camera too. Great, impressive shot. regards. maki

Astonishing how you always put soul into the eyes...I can't tear my eyes away from this little poor one....

You captured the infinite sadness in those eyes of the kid, Manuel.
The question is: how much do we care?

The eyes show fear and in a way an adult look ... so sad
The light on the right spot of the kids face.

I can imagine it will always stay on your mind

Wow! that's a strong photo! Great photojournalism

Ha, this one made me smile...what a look, and with such clarity! Exposure control is excellent and the BG blur isolated very well the kid from the surroundings...
Colors are vivid and excellent!

Hey Manny,
Very nice colors and textures surrounding the little girl - enhancing the already striking image. And not to mention those eyes!
Lovely work,
dave.

Very striking, moving portrait. Indeed these eyes do not seem to tell a lovely story of life. Your composition is absolutely stunning, with these colourful lines on nearly half the upper diagonale part of the picture, the totally blurred background, and these magnet-eyes on the left part. Very powerful. Thanks for sharing it with us today, --amz

exellent, northern feel to it. contrast bit too strong i guess

Nobody doea it like you do, Manny.THis is another stunning and powerful portrait.

Hi Manuel
Wonderful colour saturation, and again, another wonderful portrait. Great composition and this characteristic bright on the people's eyes.
HAve a nice weekend.

Hi Manny, not only those eyes are striking and hypnotizing, but what I like also is the movement given by the layers of colors all around him... This is a great shot!

Sometimes i am wondering if you are not pushing a bit too far the contrasts and pp on your shots. it loses its natural aspect.. just a thought! I know it appeals to people though!

One cannot take his looks away from those two big sad eyes just to look other parts of the photos! They are so touching. The colors and the textures of the photo are just great.
Best regards,
Sayat
