Hi Henk,
There is a special feeling about the small house is staying over the clouds.. Allow me to say that I think the white frame is wide a bit and it reduces the effect of the nice white wall of the house on your picture.
The colours are beautiful:)

Hi Henk,
I can still see 'magic' here, even though the sun is hidden. The colours and clouds are the gem of the pic esp. with that little hut above all the clouds. Reminds me of some mountain scenes in south-west China. Well taken shot of good perspective.

Hi henk,

a lovely view. Great morning light, just too bad about the overcast, although it still came out really nice. The clouds are I think more interesting than a sunrise anyway, what with the huge number of sunrise/sunset pics on TE. The clouds are mysterious and beautiful. The composition makes it seem like we are the edge of the world

Well, the composition is perfect, as usual. The house in the right place, the muddy brown path leading to it, the curvilinear dark foliage. One can really feel the hour of the day where you took this photo. But what is really amazing here is that upper part. My, those violet hues are amazing. For me it's a blessing the presence of clouds. I love them, they give shape and form to a photo and the fact they are so low even enhances the top of the world feeling that your photo suggests. I love the mountains, that bit of early sun, the different layers. On the whole, it's a wonderful landscape and a great photo. Just wish I was there too.

A breathtaking scene, Henk. The viewpoint if out of this world, looking down on cloud-shrouded mountains, not up at them. The buildings on two levels, and the winding track make for a teriffic foreground, and the beautiful sky above the horizon adds a gentle early morning light.

Hi Henk,
The PoV is awesome, pity you did not get the expected sunrise, but I do not find this view unattractive, there is enough light to estimate how superb the view must be and the blue/purple color cast from this particular hour looks good to me.

Hallo met Henk, je landschappen zijn altijd hoogstandjes. Deze weer door de strikt eigen gevoerde kleursetting welke een sterke persoonlijkheid uitstralen en het prachtig moment van dit huis op een doortekende voorgrond uitkijkend over de wolkenmassa en de bergen met een merkwaardig mooi licht in de bewolkte hemel. Dat zou leuk zijn om daar te wonen, voor het uitzicht alleen al.

Ik heb de zelfde lens, ik zie dat u ook met een statief heeft gewerkt, ik kan zonder statief geen echte scherpe foto maken met mij 70-200mm. mooie atmosfeer foto met de lage wolken boven de bergen, de weg rechts zorgt voor een bepaalde diepte.

Unusual colouring to the sky and clouds here. A grand scene and wonderful vantage point. I think you have captured some atmosphere despite not having any spectacular sunlight or rays. The composition is good with nicely balanced framing.

Well it looks spectacular to me. What a view those people have! Is that a house on the right? I love the compo, but I don't like how washed out the upper right part of the sky is. It's not bad, the photo still looks great, but I do wonder..
Anyway, great capture of a place I'm sure I'll never see in real life. I really like the colors of morning you've captured here as well. The purples, pinks and blues look so good together

I really like the way you framed this pict. On about the 1/3 at the bottom the color is normal. On the other part the lightness seem to be unreal with the violine tonalities contrasting with the foreground. Very well done.

I was also up there just a few days ago but not so early in the morning...so no magic light for me. Great colors and the low clouds also help to make a great photo.

I admit I am too biased as I loved the place, but even if that wasn't true, I think that your photo is in contradition with your text. Those clouds and their colors are impressive.
