You are looking at the tops of the world's highest mountians that show above the clouds, in the Himalayas, in Nepal. Seven of the ten tallest mountains in the world are to be found in this range, including the tallest mountain in the world, Mount Everest,(which I believe is the pointy one on the far right). Sagarmatha is the Nepali name for Mt. Everest. It can be climbed from the Tibetian side, or the Nepal side. The white on the bottom is the cloud layer above the "smaller" mountains.

Nice job for a one off shot. Pity the flight didn't work out as you'd hoped...you are lucky though...mine didn't go at all. It really is just such a spectacular sight isn't..hard to go wrong. Well done though..particularly seeing the circumstances.

H Gloria, havent seen you around for awhile, so you are in Nepal now, very nice!! Majestic panorama that you give us today. (Tina Munk is also postign a mountain series at the moment, at first I thought this was her upload of today.)
I like your framing with the huge space for the sky. I assume you are in the plane flying over these mountains and takign tackling Everest from the Nepal side:)
