Your low viewpoint works well here Vincent, and the colourful prayer flags look great set against the blue sky. I think the shot would have had even more impact if you'd used a polariser to deepen the blue of the sky, but apart from that I like this a lot.
It's full of light and colour, and not a bit of wasted space in your composition.

Il n y a pas a dire, c est vrai que Bodnath est vraiment un endroit tres esthetique. J avais adore m y rendre et prendre quelques photos.
L utilisation de tous ces drapeaux a prieres colores apporte une touche tres particuliere et met bien en valeur le stuppa. J aime bien aussi les reflets dores sur le "chapeau", ca permet d avoir un bon contraste de couleur entre le jaune et le bleu du ciel.

Un cadrage original sur le dôme de cet édifice religieux. J'aime beaucoup toutes ces touches multicolores formées par ces drapeaux à prières. Le ciel bleu donne beaucoup de relief à l'ensemble. Une belle composition et merci pour ta note intéressante notamment l'explication sur les yeux de Bouddha.

This is a great shot of this stupa. Yes, this truly is an amazing place. I wasn't lucky to get such a beautiful blue sky when I visited. But I know I will return.

The sharpness is very good, with the flags out of focus. The soft light on the eyes provides an excellent view. I found the Buddha eyes to be such an interesting thing to photograph. And I like your view of it.

This picture brings back the Bodnath to me Vince. A place that I like most of all. It's nice that you have placed the chorten to the right and positioned the prayer flags in front to create a sense on asymmetry and freshness. I posted a very similar view, but after a couple of weeks, I deleted it because it got no critiques. Given a period of time, I might risk another one, now. But, here, you have done everything necessary to prevent it becoming a stereotype picture. Regards kevin
